Exercises

Links to all the exercises are included below. Once you have completed an exercise, consider extending it by making some kind of project prototype with the new technique(s) you just learned. Keep it simple, just something that shows what you learned and how it can be used. We’ll look at a few of these in class (selected at random by the instructor). The lab exercises themselves are graded but these demos/presentations are not (so don’t worry). They are just a way to share ideas, solutions and spark discussion. If you make something and aren’t called upon in class, make sure you document it on your blog, with sketches circuits, code, photos and video as appropriate. By the time mid-semester rolls around you should have a reservoir of new skills, project ideas and design concepts to make a robust and engaging physical computing project (and even more so for the final project if you continue iterating for the rest of the semester).
